Hi - got the laptop and everything works great except the wireless. It connects to wireless fine, but if it goes into standby mode (like when you shut the cover or leave it for a wile), I am not able to get the wireless mode to come on. I press the easy launch button that enables and disables the wireless. After pressing the button, it says wireless enabled or disabled, but nothing happens, the orange light does not come on, and it doesn't even try to connect. When I manually serach for networks, it doesn't see any. It's like the wireless function is still disabled. I have no problem connecting if I reboot and no problems with other laptops connecting. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Try to update windows to service pack 2. I heard that before SP2, windows
vista had problems with wireless connections after coming up from sleep mode. Although the problems were slow connection, it worth giving a try.
Also, update Wireless drivers from Intel and check the power options for the wireless adapter.
Do you know what's your wireless card?

Thanks so much for your response! I really appreciate your help. The wireless adapter is an Atheros AR5B91 Wireless Network Adapter. I'm not sure if that answers your question about the type of card, but let me know if it does not.

I ran windows update, and I noticed that there were some updates for the wireless so hopefully that will take care of it.

It says that I have Service Pack 1 so I am also downloading Service Pack 2?

I will let you know how it works out. Thanks again!

Atheros.cz drivers are outdated compared to those on laptopvideo2go just go check the versions numbers.
Plus laptopvideo2go forums include the Atheros Client Utility.
To get there go to laptopvideo2go forums
Under Wireless drivers section you should see atheros drivers
