    Has anyone from the UK dealt with any of these websites?

    Can anyone recommened a place for getting an Acer laptop?

    I would recomend DigiUK, as there are very efficiant. had no trouble in delivering my Ferrari 4000.

    Thanks for the feedback. Do you know whether the service is consistantly good or are they like other places - a mixture of good and bad?

    sionyboy - thanks for suggesting the 5101 from a previous thread. Looks like this is the one for me :)

    I got mine from www.laptopsdirect.co.uk as well.

    I ordered it at 3pm and it arrived the following day at 9:30am. Very speedy and no problems at all.

    Technoworld, no problems at all. Operation went smooth.
    However I would think twice before buying Acer. All is fine until it breaks down and must go to Esplex - Acer's Repair Center. As they operate according to their own rules you are put on hazard of long waiting time and many returns.

    Just mine few cents.

    Anyway, just to say that Acer charges 50 pounds for a recovery dvd in the UK. (ripoff... so keep your recovery partition safe and burn your own as a back up) SH
