I just brought a new acer v15 nitro Aspire VN7-592G with 960m nvidia graphic. I have enable coolboost technology but nothing change, after 15 mins mỹ lập running too, temperature up to 90C and nvidia driver has stop working. I do everything already update driver, downclock it but none of that will help. Pls help me if someone has the same problem with me. Thank you.

UltraBook is a IGP form factor. Cooling on UltraBook machines is limited, think the same issue with MacBooks. Integrated graphics stress the laptop least.

The VN7 592G is *not* an ultrabook

90c GPU temp isn't all the surprising - what were you running at the time? did you make sure you had the air intake and exhaust vents clear (ie, not on a sofa, duvet or lap)

NVidia driver TDRs are a known issue with most of the recent drivers, but I have had luck with the latest 368.22

I have the same laptop, and my temps are good and an hour of gaming get me around 85c on the GPU which I think is fine
