    Hi guys,

Just in the process of removing my motherboard to install my new graphics card.

Currently down the the board, but struggling to get two small clips out that seem to go to the speakers and monitor - from memory do any of you know if these simply slide out? I'm just worried about putting to much force on and damaging the sockets.

    Cheers

Sorry- I had to remove the link due to a copyright clause Acer put in their service guides.
Let's turn it the other way around- search for Aspire 7738g Service Manual on the net and you may find something interesting ;)

Humm... I've taken apart my 7738g several times, don't remember it being too difficult. Pretty standard snap of the hinge cover stuff etc.

What graphics card are you putting in it?

I could take pictures of my dis assembly if you need it.
