    Help needed acer recovery locked in loop

    Hi

    I have a acer aspire 3690 and it started to run extremly slow.
    So I tried to restore it to factory setting via the acer recovery program that came with the machine. It started of ok. But it now seems locked in a loop.
    It will start up the recovery program on startup ask for my password then gives me the option of a system recovery, when i click this it loads all the files then restarts to the recovery program. I have tried clicking on exit but it just restarts to the recovery program asking for my password then system recovery.

    Help would be greatly received.
