    I upgraded my Acer Apire 5100 RAMS from 1 gig to 4 gigs.I got this RAM 4GB (2X2GB KIT) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM Notebook Memory 200 PIN FOR LAPTOPS/NOTEBOOKS 667Mhz DDR2 5300/5400

After I installed it and rebooted my laptop I got this message. " Windows could not start bec of th following file is missing or corrupt /Windows/sytem32/config/system"
It also says I can fix this by pressing 'r' to reapir but all it does is reboot itself back and I get the same error message. My laptop also did not have the original boot up CD.
I tried putting the old RAMS but I also get the same errror message.
Any help are greatly appreciatted .
    Thank you.
