    Thanks for anyhelp....
    I'm trying to upgrade Extensa 5620 Bios V1.16 to V1.21. I downloaded & unziped the new Bio's V1.21.
When I double click on CLB-121.EXE I get error: Open flash.sys Fail
The account I'm logged with has full administration right, Any help please?

    Hi,
I have the acer extensa 5620 also, and I'm interested on that BIOS update. I can't find this update on acer.com, where can I download it?

    Thanks

For some reason there are no BIOS on the "Americas" version of acer.com, but there are on the european version.
Now I have to figure out how to flash this without having a windows installed

I've upgraded mine to a T7300 Core 2 Duo, I know you can at least go up to a T7700 or higher.

I tried 1.29 and I had very frequent hangs on Linux related to using the audio. In the 1.31 changelog it says that the keyboard handling code is updated (I noticed that certain key combinations don't respond really fast, so that might be it) and it fixes hanging when coming out of sleep mode (which happens to me).
I'm going to wait, since they're releasing versions quite often.

Does anyone know what would be the limit of memory flashes the BIOS flash can handle? I already did original -> 1.22 -> 1.29 -> 1.22 (three flashes).
