I just brought Acer 5570-2067, and try to upgrade from 1GB to 2GB.

any one know which memory is fit for it?

and also, I tried to remove the memory cover at bottom of the laptop to see if my 1GB is coming with 1 dimm or 2 dimm, after i remove the two screws, I still can't lift it up, feels like there are some screws. and I don't want to force it to much. Any one has the Acer 5570 service guide?

some one post the service guide, but the ftp require a user/password

There are 2 screws, remove them, now to remove the memory cover you have to slide a small thin object like a metallic ruler or a guitar pick along the edge of the cover, you can then use the small object to pry off the memory cover.

i have the 5570, bought it from walmart. You simply take out those 2 screws and pull up gently. It has plastic tabs keeping it in place. I didn't break any of mine, but it's possible to break them even if you are careful. But you must in order to take the cover off, there is no way around them.

For me, it helped to gently push down on the case just outside the area of the cover I ws pulling up on. By sort of flexing the cover upwards on one side while pushing down the case edge, the cover tabs popped right out. Once the tabs are out you still have to slide the cover out a little bit to release the tabs on the end.
