    Help removing stuff

    When trying to remove Microsoft Works that came pre-installs I get an error. Any ideas?

    It's looking for their original install media... which is unfortunate.
    I would try revouninstaller.
    If you can't get it with revo, I'd look for a trial or something of Works, install that, then uninstall it.

    This happens when you have a mismatch between the Office version on the target, and the Office version at the specified UNC path (Universal Naming Convention) for that version
    You can fix that by going to registry but you probably want just to remove the software.
    You can use this utility from Microsoft that will definetely remove your software.

    Well I tried both programs and did not uninstall it.

    Jz get a new or better MS office installer from a website...
    install it... while installation occurs...
    windows wil ask u to remove the old ms office...
    u jz click allow and den i guess it would remove ur ms office...
    I did it this way as well...

    If u wan freeware try OPEN OFFICE...
