    Help with 5610z touchpad

    My charger recnetly broke, just bought a new one for my laptop. Now the touchpad works fine when not charging, but when its charging the tochpad goes nuts, pointing where i dont want it to and automatically clicking. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

    that is strage as heck..

    is it an OFFICIAL ACER charger or an AFTER-MARKET charger?

    what OS are you running?
    what TOUCHPAD DRIVER is installed?

    Im running vista home premium, unaware of what driver is installed.

    what about the charger?? did it come from acer? or is it a generic


    one thing you could do is download the TOUCHPAD driver from HERE.... then install the driver and see if it makes a difference.

    would an over/under volt do that to touch pad !

    For some bizarre reason it now works fine. Temporary glitch of some sort. Thanks anyways guys.
