I dont kow exactily what but somethign Major is wrong. I shut if off in the night, left it plugged in to recharge, I came back the next day and when i tried to turn it on it wouldnt turn on. So i took the battery out and did an tried to do an AC only boot, which did not work. I tried putting the battery in a leaving it for a while, and that did not work either. Also when i plug in i do not get any lights which indicate weather it is charging or charged. Infact it seems completly dead, I only bought it Spetember 2005 i hate to think it could die so fast!

Can someone please tell me what could be wrong with it?

Hmm...might be some hardware issue?! RAM perhaps, but in such a case the laptop usually will boot. Is there any chance of a power surge in your area which might have fried the circuits??

Try unplugging the battery as well as the A/C adaptor from the laptop and press the power button repeatedly for a few seconds and plug the power cord back in and try to turn the laptop on. If this doesnt work then it might be time to call Acer and see what they say.
