I am considering changing the processor from T2300 to T5500 or T5600. Has anyone tried this upgrade? Am I wasting my time and money? Will I get anything other than 64-bit support? Is this a possible upgrade or is the chip soldered in the motherboard?? Thanks for the help in advance....

Its possible to change the CPU as it is indeed socketed; however i'm not sure of the compatibility of the mainboard with that CPU. Also, heat and power delivery to the chip should also be a concern.
