    so, my finger print changet or what, idk, it wont authenticate anymore, whows X all the time, i tryed like 100 times allready and i just made my finger hurt...

    I can log in to windows by password, but in order to renew finger scan, i have to pass finger print, and i cant... how to get in to acer bio protection to renew finger scan?

    I've had the same proplem recently with my 8930G FP reader. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling and then running through the wizard I was able to retrain it for one finger (quite easily), but as soon as I tried to use it, no joy. Same problem.

    So, in addition to how to get into it when it's refusing to authenticate, is there any way to backup the saved password list other than from within the FP software itself? (I lost all my saved passwords as a result of the reinstall)

    Anyone?

    I scanned every finger in, just in case this happened. Don't know how to solve your problem though, sorry.
