    Hi all
My dvddrive is broken. The dvddrive is present in win xp2 but it wont read or burn dvd´s.

I was burning a xbox360 backup dvd and had a power failure in my house. When i got the power back on the house and the pc the drive was busted.

Now I am wondering what the dvddrive/burner is called because i need one the can do the same thing. Is it ide or sata or something else?

I got a label here beside my keyboard where it reads DVD super multi layer (support DVD+/-R double layer/DVD+/-RW)

Could you please recommend a new drive for me and perhaps it would be best if it was the same as I allready got ???

Lastly how do I remove the broken dvddrive/burner from my Acer Aspire 9302awsmi and replace it with the new when i get hold of it?

I hope you are able to help me out

    Regards René Hansen
