I think the charger for a friends Aspire 1410 died and they're looking for a replacement.

How important is it to find a charger with matching voltage and amperage? I think the Aspire 1410 charger is 19V/1.58A/30W, but would it be safe to use a charger from another Acer laptop with a different voltage and amperage? For example, would it be okay to use a 3810t charger (19V, 3.42A/65W) on the 1410?

If not, would getting a universal charger be a good idea? Would something like this: Cooler Master: NA 65 work on the Aspire 1410? The universal charger is listed at 19V/3.42A/65W though, would it work?
