Has anyone worked out a way for selectively re-installing applications from the factory software package - either from the hidden partition or the factory backup DVDs?

For example, if some software was inadvertently uninstalled, how does one re-install only that application?

    The magic called scripting ....
and the customer deserves to have what he payed for :D

Thats why every ACER corp , builds a full pack of goodies .

If you dislike the goodies , use the Windows add-remove function , its the simplest way to remove the unwanted .

OK. I think I get the picture...its either part of Vista or trial software, and once the trial software is removed, that's it.

And yes, the Windows parts can be removed and added again I assume.

Not always - the Acer eRecovery software can burn a Drivers & Utilities disc with most of the essential pre-loaded software for you.
