Can any please help me with a problem that i have been facing off late. Whenever i increase the volume of the Microphone on the sysytem my laptop starts giving a high pitch noise and it only stops when i mute the Microphone volume of the laptop. Please let me know if there are any permanent solutions.

    Thanks.

sounds like a similar problem the Dell 1520's had. There was a jack noise coming from the headphone port that was a high pitched whine. Supposedly it was a grounding problem or something along the lines of that anyway.

chase it up! and goodluck, you might just have a dud that needs replacing
