Hi, I am going to buy Acer travelmate 4500 notebook.
I have heard, that on the acer notebooks and overall notebooks made of plast the hinges tended to break.

What about the tm4500 series? How is the build quality of the hinges?
Does anyone has this problem with acer notebooks, especialy on tm4500 series?

    Thanks

    Hey,

I bought an Acer Aspire 1350 about six months ago which is already starting to show cracks at the hinges.

I'd carefully reconsider buying an Acer, or at least make sure that the garantuee you purchase with it covers this problem.

    Charoe.
