This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hooking up Ext. Monitor to Acer TravelMate 2300

    I have been tryng for hours to use my external monitor as "primary and only" monitor with my Acer TravelMate 2300 Laptop. No combination of Fn/F5 keys work. In the last couple of years, I have had it working but it has always been a problem. Any ideas on how to do it?
