    How To Replace New DVD RW on Aspire 5610?

    Right I have just had to but a new DVD RW for my Aspire 5610, but can't even remove the back from the laptop never mind replace the damn thing. I took all of the screws out from the rear case, but then it looked rather stubborn so didn't want to try too hard just in case I broke it.

    Any ideas?

    You cannot take off the back of the laptop....the front cover comes off first....
    check Pg.60 of the guide....

    Try removing the power switch bezel....its screws will be at the rear....!!
