    Hi everyone,

I was replacing the keyboard on my Aspire 6930G after books fell on it and damaged some keys and when I removed the ribbon that attaches the keyboard to the motherboard the small black clip that holds the ribbon in place broke (see pic)

Now the keyboard only half works unless I put pressure on the ribbon :(

Edit: phoned Acer and they said that the part can not be purched at all as its part of the motherboard

    Thanks

    Hex

Used a business card and hot glue and it seems to have worked a treat, thanks again.
