    Hi,

I am using an ancient Aspire 2012WlCi. I deleted the recovery partition, but would like the convenience of reformatting my computer w/o the recovery disks in the future. That's why I would like to recreate the recovery partition. Unfortunately the recovery CDs couldn't do that for me (there was 1 error during installation about partition not found).

Just wondering anyone has experience recreating the Recovery partition? I read from this thread:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=11476
that once the partition is gone, it's gone forever.

Also, I am wondering whether any of you are still using the Aspire 2012. If so, would you like to start an user thread? :p

    Thanks.
