    How could I replace the 11.6" LCD 40 pins with a 11.6? 30 pins LCD TOUCH SCREEN to the Acer Timeline 1830T

    I have tried to find a touch panel Film to Glass 0.7mm and Film to Glass 0.9mm with a controller board and the answer that I got from the vendors is " Minimum order 100 or more pieces" ,
    so now I changed plan and I thinking to install an 11.6" LCD Touch Screen with the size compatible to my Acer Timeline 1830T,
    In the following link I found couple of screen that match the size B116XW01 V.0(Slim) 11.6 touch screen,View 11.6 touch screen,For AUO Product Details from Shenzhen Songzicheng Technology Co., Ltd. on Alibaba.com

    but the problem is the connector on the back of the LCD because the my Acer Timeline 1830T has 40 pins and the LCD Touch screen has 30 pins.

    my question is : one adapter 40 pins to 30 pins will solve the problem for the installation or also need some controller to be installed?
