The technical support people say if I can change the keyboard myself, then they'll simply ship me a new keyboard which I would have to change myself. Otherwise, I will have to send them the laptop which is a lot of hassle and the shipping would suck.

Can anyone here help me remove/replace the keyboard for an Acer Aspire 5672WLMi ??

first of all, remove the power connector and the battery before u do anything on that laptop.

remove the 3 screws in the middle cover. remove that middlecover by putting a screwdriver in one of those holes which are covering the displaybrackets. pull it up slowly. same thing goes for the opposite side.

there you go :) remove the 2 screws which are holding the keyboard and the cable to the mainboard.

Tech support pays for the shipping both ways under warranty.

With that said, the keyboard is one of the easier things to remove.

Just to clarify, the 3 screws in deviance post are located behind the computer near the DVI/ethernet ports.
