    Hi All,

I've just purchased an Aspire 8920G and I'm having a lot of problems installing Adobe software.

The laptop I purchased was ex-display so it contained a few installations. I want to get back to the original state but don't know how to do this.

I tried the 'Restore Factory Default' option but it didn't get rid of the problematic files namely:-

    C:\Program Files\Adobe
    and
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe

I also tried removing these files using the WinCS3Clean software but it won't remove these files.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm now at a loss!

    Many thanks
    Stephen

You would need an OS disc to reformat, and then reinstall the Operating System. Or you can downoad CCleaner or Revo Uninstaller and uninstall the troublesome programs alongwith their registry entries.

BTW, it seems as if some Adobe software is already installed, so what other Adobe software are you trying to install....??

    Many thanks Andy.

I'm trying to install Dreamweaver after I had a problem the first time I tried installing but it keeps saying 'A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot'

The CS3Clean software is supposed to uninstall every element but isn't doing.
