Hi I have a new Acer Aspire 5672 with Pioneer DVR-K06. I have had an issue with only being able to burn CD-R's at only X4 instead of X24 but DVD's are ok and burn at X8. I have read other people have had this issue and it's a matter of trying some different CD-R brands. If anyone else has had this problem please can you confirm this?
I'm very happy with the machine apart from a small issue in when typing, on every key press I am hearing a bit of a slight vibrating or rattling from inside the slot load drive. If i tap the palm rest gently i hear the same noise. It doesn't do it if there's a disc inserted however. I guess it's a component inside the drive that is a bit loose or something but i would like to remove the drive and re-install it to see if i can stop the vibrating noise when typing as it's getting annoying. If i can't stop it i will replace the drive. Please can someone tell me how i can remove my DVD drive from my Aspire 5672 so i can see if i can fix the noise?
