On my older laptop, I was able to use the "Fn" key and the "F5" key to display through a projector but I am not able to do it through the Acer. I have a fresh install of Win MCE and loaded all the drivers etc. and everything else on the laptop seems fine. Do I have to load some software for this to work? My volume and screen adjustments work fine when I do the "Fn" and Arrow keys. This laptop has a Nvidia GeForce Go6100.

Use the Windows Display settings to detect the monitors...or choose to have only the external one. If that works, you can clone the monitors so you can have it projected and viewing on your LCD.

Fn+F5 should force VGA output...try it when booting up.
