I got (at least I believe they are!) the latest Acer/ATI drivers off their FTP website the other day, based on the 6.1 Catalysts. THey fixed my problems in Quake 4 but I'm still not getting ideal playback on my X1300. Its good don't get me wrong, but the new 6.4s offer amazing DVD playback. Just wondering when I can expect Acer to release a new set of drivers that I can use.

I tried Omega drivers, and trying to mod the official mobilitys, but to no luck at all.

Try using Omega Drivers while you wait.

Any idea why the Omega drivers don't work?

No idea at all. Installed them using the setup program but they won't stick. Installed them manually but crashes when I try anything in 3D. After two days of trying I gave up and found some drivers on Acers website based on Catalyst 6.1s. They were an update to the ones shipped on my laptop, so I was hoping it might be a monthly thing or something. I'll just have to check their FTP site periodically to see if anything else comes out.
