    Hi

    Just baught this very nice Acer Aspire 5940G - but cant figure out how to adjust contrast and brightness for the external monitor.

    Any help is very much appreciated - thanks.

    First you could change it using control menu on your external display (monitor or TV)...

    Second, you can use software utility that came installed with your graphics card driver (Nvidia control center, Ati catalyst control center or Intel utility, depending of your graphics card manufacturer)...
