    Hi everyone..

I have a Acer Aspire 1691Wmli and my temps are very high... Too much high I think!!

I would like to open the computer to try to change the thermal compound... To put some Artic Ceramic!!

Can anyone help me with whitepaper or a guide how to open this computer?

EDIT: sorry for my poor english :(

You might want to reconsider if this will have an effect on your warranty, i'm not entirely sure but Acer might not be happy with you fiddling around inside your computer if its still under warranty

There was someone a while back who had service manuals for Acer laptops. You may want to search for it. The Service Manual will explain how to disassemble the notebook. Acer is not too keen on handing them out. I'd agree on the warranty. If it is still under warranty you should let Acer Fix it.

Service manuals are hard to get. If you find one for Aspire 5024 I would be most thanful ;)
