Hi guys,
I got this cheap Acer TM2428A, with the following configuration:

I'd like to add more RAM, another 512MB, to make it faster (to 1G) but not sure if the laptop's RAM is 400Mhz (200-pin SoDIMM), can I install a faster one (like 533Mhz)?
More importantly, I've never done it before, so how do you guys add a RAM stick to a laptop?
Advice highly appreciated!
Many thanks indeed!

you can install a faster ram but it will operate at the lower speed (400Mhz) so it would be almost useless because that one stick performing @533Mhz would be getting heald back in speed. so i would go with a 512 stick like this.
This is a pretty good guide you will see steps 1-10 about alfway down the page. just follow these and you should be ok.
it wont look exactly the same but its the same concept, as with most notebooks. -
Thanks a lot, Bugmenot9 !!!
