    Hello everyone,
I'm quite new to notebooks and I think that the best place to ask for help would be here. I'd like to install additional RAM Memory in my laptop (as title said, the Acer Aspire 6920G) which only has 2Gb. I've bought a 2Gb memoy module. My problem is that when I try to open the notebook (i removed the necessary screws), it seems like there is something preventing me from opening it and I'm scared to break the laptop so I don't know if I should force it to open or if I missed somethink. Can someone send me a guide on how to open this specific laptop, or just tell me what I'm doing wrong ? Any help would be appreciated :)

Nope - service manuals aren't allowed to be shared on NBR. However, I heard that Googling around might help you find what you need.

That being said, the 6920G does have some small plastic tabs to keep the "buttplate" in after you've removed all the screws. Don't use too much force, but you should be able to tug it out just fine.
