I have tried ALT + F10 to recover my 5920 but nothing happens?

Does anybody know if this laptop came with a recovery CD. (the box is in storage) Or are there any other methods tho recover VISTA? It just doesn't start the loading screen keeps showing the yellow loading bar.

and you have switch on D2D in the bios ?

you should have burnt the recovery DVD's when you was first asked to when you started the laptop the first time :(

have you played with the partitions ?
you need to use Alt+F10 at the acer screen.

you can get the recovery DVD's from acer, but they will charge a small fee.

unless one of the lads has a copy you can download and burn.

    All the best
