    Hey,

I was just wondering is it possible to use Acer eRecovery to restore my 5044WLMi to its default factory state? I have converted the FAT32 partitions to NTFS, does this make a difference?

Could somebody also please remind me which key I need to press during boot? I am thinking F12 but probably got it wrong!

I am a complete alien to Acer's Bloatware....But I guess you need to press F10..!!

I think you can restore it to its factory state (I guess that is what its for)
Conversion to NTFS or back to FAT32, doesn't matter....!!

But if you are going to be selling the notebook, it won't completely/physically erase the files....

Its the only thing I kept of the bloatware purely because I don't have a Windows XP Home Disc to do a clean install.

I have XP Pro SP2 but not home edition which I have a licence for (the one that comes with the Acer). The XP PRO licence I have is in use on a desktop PC in the house.

If I had an XP Home CD I could use my Acer CD-Key to install it.
