    I've just bought an Acer 1691wlmi from Comet(UK).
    I've been reading lots of post relating to this model and I
    have to say I'm now quite confused about what I'm getting
    on Fri (13th no less) Jan.

    The specs don't seem to match up to any version of this
    machine anywhere. It seems to fall in between the 1691 and
    the 1691wlmi, for example;

    Processor : Pentium M 725A 1.6ghz
    FSB : 400mhz
    Hard disc : 60 gigs
    Battery : 3.5 Hours, so should be (I think) the 8 cell
    Memory : 512mb

    It also has the 15.4'' widescreen. Comet are a tad vague
    over things like bluetooth etc, and I have searched Acer UK
    and Acer Europes websites and found only higher spec'ed
    1694wlmi etc. It's like its discontinued or something

    Has anyone in the UK bought one of these from Comet?
    or know's of what the machine has? i.e 1 or 2 filled ram slots?
    The price seemed good at £570 (sale/web price), but now
    I'm less sure, anyway here's the link to it on their site, any
    info would be much appreciated. :)
