So... My Acer Aspire 5585WXMi was infected by a trojan horse a while ago...
I managed to clear off the trojan horse, except now my computer has several problems:
    1. All my CD-ROM Drive Drivers are corrupt
    2. I can't access some system files to install applications
    3. My C-Drive space decreases at a phenomenal rate

Can someone help me and tell me what I should do?

    Thanks!

What antivirus did you use ? Avira and Kaspersky are good.

Also run a scan with malwarebytes. And run a registry cleaner (CCleaner).

The CD-ROM is plug n play, so the drivers should be generic. If you can do a clean install that'll be better.

I ran the registry cleaner, which helped, I think...
it fixed about 500 problems, so... that was good...

However, my CD-ROM drivers are still not fixed! I tried taking it off and plugging it again, because it's plug and play, but that didn't work either... Is there a way to fix the driver without a clean install?

Try to uninstall the drivers from the "Device Manager" then restart the computer. Windows should reinstall the drivers on startup.
