Hey. The cable that connects the screen to the area under the keyboard is broken on my aspire one. I'm sure this cord is at fault and not the screen itself because I replaced the screen and it still had no image. (Bright white screen. I hear the laptop making "loading noises" as it usually does but no picture). My problem is I have no idea what this cord is called so I can't search for one on ebay.

I took apart an old aspire one to try and retrieve this cable but unfortunately it used a different cord. The part that plugged into the area under the keyboard was smaller, fatter, and had 2 rows of prong holes. However, the one I need for my newer model aspire one must be slightly longer with only one row of prong holes.

Can someone tell me what these are called so I can search for one?

    Thanks.

We need to know an exact model number- Aspire One won't do- and then we need a service guide with FRU list.
