Hi, I recently purchased an Acer Aspire One D255 Netbook that ran a Windows 7 Enterprise OS free 90 day trial. Yesterday I had installed the Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Since then I seem to have lost the Launch Manager for the communication key, i.e. for wifi and bluetooth. Every time I press FN and F3 (that used to launch the manager) I now turn off the wifi connection. Is this something I've done wrong? I'd appreciate any help, please.

Every time you install new "fresh" copy of Operating system, you lose factory software installed on previous OS version.
All you have to do is to download additional software from acers support site, and that should solve your problem...

... the other option would be the "drivers & applications disc" clever users create before they wipe the HDD. :D
Very often, these drivers and utilities are newer than the files on Acer support website.

EDIT: this is not applicable to the (apparently used) laptop of the original poster since he was never able to restore the factory preinstallation.

Many thanks, Arminator. I discovered that Bluetooth had been wiped completely from my netbook. I have now downloaded it okay but I still haven't got the Launch Manager to pop up when I use the FN + F3 hotkey!

Yeah, Michael - I'm not a clever user unfortunately!
