Already upgraded it with 3Gb RAM, T6400, n-lite WLAN card, 30 Gb SSD and various other mods.
I would now like to start major internal mods.
1st things 1st, I'm expecting to need an internal USB hub are there points I can tap into on the 5315's motherboard for this?
Secondly, is this the correct touchscreen kit for my laptop?
There are a few different layouts available for 15", dont want to order the wrong one!
If this goes well, I will install bluetooth and an internal 3G dongle onto the same USB hub.

So Ive deduced that the touchscreen is the correct size...
Is there no-one who has done any voltage probing on the mainboard?
Am I gonna have to do it myself? -
There are 3 ways you can hookup the panel internall though usb.
If your 5315 is the non webcam model, hook up where the webcam plugs in near the touchpad connector on the motherboard.
2nd, if you don't have bluetooth you can use that connector and tap into that.
Lastly, you can tap into the usb lines on the unused mini-pci slot.
I would like to mod my 5315 with a Touch Screen
