Didn't look to see what was running when I took the snapshot so I don't know what made the kernal times go up. Probably the anti virus running in the background. The GPU is clocked at 675 MHz, the GPU memory is at 800 MHz, both stock speeds.

    Hi Meaker.
How did you get 8 gb ram to work?
Does it require a lot of hardware modifications?
I want 8 gigs in my 7738G too...

While it is lighter and more portable I get a 17.3" FHD screen, two hard drives and an optical drive and a quad core cpu.

Yep, =) As the score suggests she is pretty balanced at the moment. Some extra graphics grunt in the future would be nice but for now she's golden.

There is still a lot of performance to be had from a 2.93ghz core 2 quad.

At the current settings I am in the low 80s when running a DX11 title at 1080p once temperatures have had a chance to settle.

Considering the cooler was designed for a 2ghz core 2 quad and a 240M I think it's coping nicely.

    Hope you enjoy.

Oh - c'mon dude. Don't be like that. I'm not going to buy a 240M right away however, I may wait for something better, from nVidia!! :D

But, oh yeah, my Quad Core is waiting for this peace of meat to arrive! :)

Why?? 250M costs the same as 6770M lol. What exactly is in the NVIDIA cards that you are going to miss in a monster like 6770M?

lol, don't worry. I have never had a singel issue about a laptop which overheats. I always find a way out ;)

I think you also missunderstood my post.

"looool Got it now" were a answer for Meaker, which was talk about his cooler when I were 240M (In my head I were thinking about 250M..)
