This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     IR does not work and neither the volume throttle since upgrading to W7 x64

    Is there anyone else having the same problems?

    And what it is even more important.... does anybody now how how to fix this???

    EDIT: I forgot to add the the scroll function on the touchpad does not work either... lol

    install the IR driver, audio driver and the synaptics/alps driver.

    Thanks for the prompt response

    I installed the realtek audio driver, but that doesn't seem to be the problem as the throttle still doesn't work. I will try again anyway, just in case.

    As per the IR driver... do you know where it is? I had a look on the Acer website (UK) but I could not locate it :(

    Would you happen to know if there also a driver for the touchpad, as the scroll function doesn't work either..?

    EDITED: Found them. For some reason I could not find these drivers on the Acer webstie a couple few hours back...
