Hello,
Some Google research has indicated that my ISO mounting software of choice--Alcohol 120--is not compatible with Acer's recovery partition, and installing Alcohol might cause boot problems.
I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on an Acer 1810t. Can anyone recommend an alternate to Alcohol 120, and perhaps describe their experiences? I just want to mount ISO and NRG images and have them appear as a virtual drive within Explorer.

I use Daemon Tools (free version) in Win 7 64bit and it works fine.
I thought both A120% and DT use SPTD driver so either both should have problems or neither of them.
Anyway I can confirm DT works and does the mounting fine however it's unable to copy discs like A120% does (but you didn't mention you need this feature) -
Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the issue might be with the Acer recovery partition and some ISO mounting software? I've read some online horror stories about installing such apps and ending up with a bricked laptop.
