The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Icons in task bar is fuzzy

    Original configurtion as shipped with resolution is set at max, dpi is set at 120. icons in quicklaunch, task menu bar at the bottom are fuzzy. How does one correct this? It's a minor issue but would would like to have a clean look for a relatively high end system.

    Do you mean how would you change the DPI settings? If that's what you want - go to your desktop, right click and go to dispaly properties and to the last tab for settings, click on advanced and there should be another pop up window that will allow you to set the DPI
