    ok i just restored my acer aspire using the disk i downloaded all the drivers restarted the computer now i get a black screen on my desktop what should i do i need to fix it!!!????

    Maybe you should change the Subject to something like 'did restore, now black screen' or 'help, restore failed' or whatever so people who know something about that particular problem or have experienced the same thing know to click on the thread. A lot of people don't have time to investigate every 'Help' thread to see what it's about. Just sayin'. Sorry I can't actually help you with the problem. :(

    When you say black screen on the desktop, what do you mean? Did you download the restore disk, or was it the one that came with the PC? Had you changed the partitions on the hard drive at all before the restore? If so what did you do before you restored?
