    Trying to fix a Acer Extensa 5210 laptop it has no picture but on external ok last time I checked.
    The things I have done new video cable, new inverter, good second hand screen but still no luck any ideas.

    Vid card if it has one. I have a 6920 that did the same thing. Cooked
    the card in the oven for 10 mins reinstalled and bam..there was on
    board vid,

    If not you may have to have the graphics chip reballed . Google
    reballing vid chip. What happenes is that graphics chip get
    really hot and sometimes the solder needs to reflowed.from
    the mb to the chip.
