With intel drastically cutting CPU prices and the Ferrari 5000 comming end of this month. Is it possible for this to be cheaper about 2-3 weeks?

I think the price will continue to drop, though there is no "imminent price drop" coming in my opinion. If you trace the history of this machine, it has already come down in price a great deal, it started in January at somewhere between 2500 and 2800. It can be found now at reputable stores for 2000 and less. Though the new Ferarri 5000 is coming out, it is not leagues ahead of this machine, so I don't think it will affect the price of the 8200 drastically. On the other hand when something like core duo 2 comes out in a few months , then this machine will be more obsolete and therefore cheaper.
