Hello
for mod and admin...i don't know if this is in the right place...
this morning (9 am) i have talk with a member of acer support about the cpu compatibility support for my acer 5715z with and GM960
So i don't know what bios version support this CPU ( i think the latest ) but it's safe and sure![]()
My question is what is CPU.DUO.M ? It's C2D? I'm very intersting in KC.93S01.DTP CPU.DUO.M-2.50GHz/6MB/800/C0 for my 5715 (also for 6mb cache XD)
The last part of list C0, M0, A1 is a Step ?
The answer is
KC.14001.CMT CPU.CEL-DUAL.T1400/1.73G/512
KC.23101.DTP CPU.DUO.M-1.46GHz/1MB/533/M0
KC.23701.DTP CPU.DUO.M-1.73GHz/1MB/533/M0
KC.23901.DTP CPU.DUO.M-1.86GHz/1MB/533/M0
KC.24101.DTP CPU.DUO.T2410/2G/533/35W
KC.52701.DTP CPU.DUO-T5270.1.4GHz/2MB/800/M0
KC.54701.DTP CPU.DUO.M-1.60GHz/2MB/800/M0
KC.55501.DTP CPU.DUO.M-1.83GHz/2MB/667/M0
KC.58501.DTP CPU.DUO-T5850/2.16G/667/M0
KC.93S01.DTP CPU.DUO.M-2.50GHz/6MB/800/C0
KC.N0001.550 CPU.CEL.M-2.00GHz/1MB/533/A1
-
KC.93S01.DTP CPU.DUO.M-2.50GHz/6MB/800/C0
is probably a T9500 or IntelĀ® Core?2 Duo Processor T9500 (6M Cache, 2.60 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)with SPEC Code(s)SLAPW, SLAQH, SLAYX, SLAZA, SLB3BW, SLB49, SLB4A, SLB4B
You can get an C0 or E0 revision, E0 is cooler but exactly the same. I'd get an T9500 E0 if i were you.
Important : Directly from acer support
