Graphic subsystem name IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 358 MB (shared)..so this means that its max memory cap. is 358 right? and as i have looked into the bios.. my video card's memory is only set to 10MB.. anyone know how i could increase it?..i cant seem to change it through bios..

First of all, increasing the memory will not improve performance in anyway.

And your card couldn't have worked with just 10MB till now, so definitely the shared memory allocation is controlled by the driver, so you can't do anything about it. Again, it won't affect performance, but just deprive your OS of physical memory, as the shared memory cannot be used by the OS.

    :)

When the integrated graphics card is not doing 3d work, it only uses around 8-10MB so that is correct. More RAM is taken (by the driver) if the card needs it.

But alas, there is no way to improve the performance of the card.
