Simple question, how do you actually get it to work, or should i say receive. I have a Nokia N95 and yes I know its bluetooth and thats fine but I want to know how you get the laptop to receive from infrared.

I have switched it on, on the phone and send via infrared but the lappy wont pick it up or connect to the phone.

How do you do this, someone must have used the IR port, its loaded in my device manager coz I just checked and theres no yellow exclamation mark by it so i guess its working.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thankie

Sorry mate ! AS5920G infra-red unit works only with Media Remote Controllers (CIR) .It's not a data transfer unit.

I would have thought it was for all of the aspire range.
