My Acer 9502 just has a 4200 speed, zero cashe hard drive. I would like to replace it with a 5600 or faster drive with a cashe (buffer) of at least 8 MB.

    My question is this:
If I replace the present drive, can I just install the Acer imaged OS on the new drive? I have the Acer install disks and a Acronis TrueImage of my current hard drive. If I can't do this, how do you guys upgrade or replace drives with imaged operating systems?

    Thanks for the help.
